Hi Joeedh,

I just tried your LoadBlender.py script.

When I run it on a file that's been saved by today's CVS build, the script hangs, presumably because the file format has been changed.

I added a small notation ("Blender 2.41") at the top of the page. Probably not a big issue is this script is unlikely to be used by many "regular" users (like me :) )

- Thanks, I should've done that myself. Joeedh

Hi Joeedh, I just want to tell you that you can write your sign with a timestamp if you write simple wiki syntax: --~~~~ => --Igor 09:02, 6 June 2006 (CEST)

- Thanks. I've been wondering what that command was ;) --Joeedh 06:35, 9 June 2006 (CEST)

Concerning Copyright Page

Are we able to unlock the BlenderWiki:Copyrights page, because I believe it should be updated to contain a link to (or merged with) the Meta/Licenses page, and will need occasional revision.

I would be happy to edit the copyrights page when it needs it, however it will need to be unlocked.

  • Definitely not. Once a new page is created, it will be copyrighted under the wiki license, however (and I'm fairly sure about this) *changing* the license would require getting the permission of all the users, and any user who created a page but doesn't want to switch can't be forced too (I *think* the implicit license of freely-editably wiki pages we had before would still let people edit the page though). In fact, we really should have put a notice in the copyright page saying that all pages created before it was made aren't licensed under open content (except for the manual, which of course was open content before it even came to the wiki).
